Born on November 7, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan. Married to Teresa Aglialoro Bennett. Served in United States Army from 1972-1974. Honorable discharge.
Education:
Graduated Hardaway High School in 1971. Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbus College in 1978 majoring in English and Literature. Graduated with Honors. Juris Doctorate Degree from University of Georgia Law School in 1983. Member of Mock Trial Team. Named best litigator.

Mark A. Casto
Education:
Mark received his Bachelor Science degree at Western Carolina University in 1992. He received his Juris Doctor at University of Akron School of Law in 1996. Mark was a member of the nationally recognized and honored Moot Court Trial Team and received Top Trial Advocate honors in the Northeast Regional Gourley Trial Competition.
Experience:
Mark began his career as a Prosecutor for the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit where he was appointed special prosecutor for violent child victim crimes. He began his private practice in 2001 specializing in the areas of personal injury/wrongful death litigation, business litigation, employment discrimination and criminal defense. Mark has tried over one hundred jury and bench trials. Mark is licensed to practice in the Federal Courts of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court, Northern and Middle Districts, and all Georgia State Courts including the Georgia Supreme Court, and Georgia Court of Appeals.

Mark is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Georgia Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and Columbus Trial Lawyers Association. He served as former President of the Younger Lawyers Association and as Area Representative of the Member Benefits Committee of the State Bar Association. Mark is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Florida. Mark is currently serving as President of the Chattachoochee Valley Bar Association.
