Bennett and Casto are admitted to practice in a number of courts and jurisdictions including all State Courts in the state of Georgia, including the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court. Mr. Bennett is permitted to practice in all Federal Courts in the state of Georgia, including Northern United States District Court, Middle United States District Court, Southern United States District Court, and the Eleventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. He is also licensed and has handled cases in the United States District Courts of North Dakota, Alabama, and Arizona; the United States Court of Claims, The Board of Federal Contract Appeals, The United States Department of Labor Benefits Review Board, Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation and the Federal Workers Compensation Board. He is also licensed to practice and has handled cases in the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Bennett has also lectured at Columbus State University before students in the University's School of Nursing on "How to Avoid Being Sued for Medical Malpractice and What to Do if You Are." He has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Georgia School of Law on the topic of Tort Reform.
AREAS OF PRACTICE
Bennett and Casto specialize in representing only those injured by the negligence of others, by defective products, medical malpractice, assault, fraud, and unfair business practices. Mr. Bennett has many years of experience in cases of wrongful death, automobile and traffic injuries, medical negligence/malpractice, insurance claims, claims against railroads for railroad employee injuries or for crossing collisions, tractor trailer accidents, defective products, and workers' compensation cases.
