Peripheral Vascular Surgery

Dr. Ahmad was trained with one of the best vascular surgeons in the country (Dr. Schenk, Professor of Surgery, University of Buffalo, New York, a past president of Society of Vascular Surgeons.)

Breast Surgery

As is true for cancer anywhere else in the body, early detection is the key to the eradication of the disease and full recovery. Our philosophy is to educate the patient on prevention and self-breast examination and educate the patient about the danger of breast cancer and therefore, early screening and early detection. Our services include history, physical, breast biopsy, lumpectomy, and/or mastectomy, preservation surgery on the breast. Emphasis is given to the best cosmetic result without any compromise to the cancer eradication.

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a way of evaluating the gastrointestinal tract for any potential problems such as ulcers, cancers, polyps, diverticulosis, etc. Dr. Ahmad is well trained and experienced in performing the endoscopic procedures. The majority of patients will be helped with simple dietary manipulation and medications after a proper diagnosis is made.

Hernia Surgery

Lynn Haven Surgical Center provides all kinds of hernia surgeries available, which include conventional open repairs, relatively tension free repairs of hernias that result in significantly less pain, less disability, and faster recovery and of course, the newest laparoscopic hernia repair. Most of the hernias can be done under local anesthesia with IV sedation on an outpatient basis. The hiatal hernias are repaired with a laparoscope under general anesthesia. This reduces the pain and hospital stay significantly and results in early recuperation.

General surgery

Managed by a Board Certified General Surgeon, the Lynn Haven Surgical Center provides services for diseases of a general surgical nature. This includes a very long list. Briefly, in addition to the previously mentioned problems, they are:
