The Alternative Medical Center is an alternative, or complement, to traditional medical care. The Alternative Medical Center provides health care through the use of acupuncture, herbology, physical therapy, and therapeutic massage.

The Alternative Medical Center is owned and operated by Gail Berns, P. T. and Jan Berns, P.T. We have been at this location since November of '98.

Gail L. Berns, A.P. Dipl. Ac. is a graduate of the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, Florida state licensed, an acupuncture physician and national diplomat, and an herbologist with sixteen years of background in western pharmaceuticals.

Jan A. Berns, P.T. is a graduate of N.Y.U. and has been practicing physical therapy for 36 years. His experience includes private practice, home health, and teaching. He has vast experience in medical, orthopedic, and neurological problems.

Mario M. Indiviglio, A.P. attended the Acupressure/Acupuncture Institute in Miami, Florida, where he graduated as class salutatorian. In addition to being an acupuncture physician, Mario is also a practitioner of shiatsu and reiki, and is a student and teacher of chen style taijiquan.
