Reservations are required for boarding, which we provide as a service to our clients. All animals boarding must be up-to-date on their vaccinations. All other services the owner requests while their pet is boarded will be gladly done, including daily walks or brushing.

All pets are discharged during normal office hours, Monday through Saturday, and by arrangement on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Boarding Offers Advantages
There are some real advantages to boarding your pet with a veterinary facility. Some pets develop bonds with kennel staff or even with other boarders. For aging pets or those with health concerns, the best place may be at a veterinary facility. It may be helpful initially to board your pet for brief periods (several hours or overnight) before your trip. This will allow it to become familiar with the conditions of the kennel and will teach it that you will return to reclaim it.

You may want to leave a favorite toy or a garment that holds your body scent. Your pet may be happier. Leaving a supply of its regular food may help it have a happier tummy, as well as prevent accidents. Also, leave a supply of your pet's favorite treats. In case of an emergency, leave a copy of your travel schedule and a list of phone numbers where you or someone you trust may be reached. Also, consider calling the boarding facility while you are away to see if there are any problems or questions.
