Traffic Offense FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions):
1)
Can I just pay my ticket?
Of course. But you should be aware that simply paying off your
ticket could result in consequences to your insurance and in
some cases license suspension, even if this is your first offense.
My office can assist you with finding the most effective way
to handle your case, even if this means advising you to simply
pay the ticket.
2)
Do I have to appear in court?
Not necessarily. Many but not all traffic offenses can be handled
without the necessity of your appearance. Contact us for further
details.
3)
How much will my case cost?
Your cost generally depends on the service that your case requires.
Most cases can be handled for an attorney fee of $200 + costs
and fines. Additional services are billed at an additional charge.
You may have seen some attorneys in this area advertising ridiculously
low fees, however read the fine print and you will find hidden
charges. My fee is a flat fee, with no additional charges. Remember
the old adage, you get what you pay for. When it comes to your
legal rights, do not settle for the bargain basement.
4)
I have lost my license what can I do?
There are several services that we offer to assist you in seeking
restoration of your license. Generally, we charge an initial
$150 fee to investigate your case and advise you of your options.
If we are able to assist you, this $150 will be credited towards
your fee. Contact my office for further details.
