Welcome to Del’s, the friendliest bait and tackle store in town! Del’s is a Ma and Pa bait shop like no other. Owned and operated by Rich Schuster and his wife Jade, Del’s has been on the Fort Lauderdale map for over 19 years. Originally owned by another family, Rich and Jade bought the store 3 years ago and have jazzed up the inventory for your fishing delight!
 
We sell a huge assortment of both salt and freshwater fishing bait, lures and accessories. Our live saltwater bait includes shrimp (both large and small), crabs, and pinfish. Occasionally, we also stock live mullet. Our live freshwater bait includes minnows, shiners (of varying sizes), crickets, red worms, night crawlers, and wigglers. Additionally, our frozen bait consists of ballyhoo, pilchards, shrimp, squid, mullet, menhaden chum, sardines, sand fleas, sardine chum, and a whole host of other gourmet fish treats.
 
Check out our “Wall of Fame” plastic fake baits and lures that include such favorites as Rapala, Yuzuri, Gulp shrimp and crabs, Gambler worms, Culprit worms and Charlie worms. However, it doesn’t end there… We sell rod and reel combos and name brand fishing gear such as Shimano and Daiwa reels. We also sell fishing and hunting licenses for your convenience.
 
And should you need a new rod tip, new line, or other rod and reel repairs, we offer that too! Ask Rich to demonstrate a few tricks on tying line to line or other lesser known knots and fishing tricks of the trade.
 
We are a kid-friendly store and encourage children of all ages to stop by Del’s. Check out our “Kid’s Corner” that displays classic cartoon rod and reel combos and lures such as Batman, Spiderman, Barbie and Tigger. Our candy, soda, and snacks are sure to please any fisherman’s palate, young or old! And for the adults, we sell good old-fashioned beer and ice to fill that cooler.
 
Although we encourage a “catch and release” philosophy at Del’s, we are happy to mount any of the big ones that you’d like to display on your living room wall.
