What Is Pre-Paid Legal Casualty?

A Pre-Paid Legal Casualty plan gives you power where most Americans need it. You now have the ability to practice preventive law with Pre-Paid Legal Casualty. The Pre-Paid Legal Casualty plan is designed to give you and your family affordable access to legal services for your personal and work life. It is your benefit of protection against countless legal matters.

Title I

Preventive Legal Services Unlimited toll-free telephone consultations for personal and business questions. Personal letters/phone calls on your behalf plus two business related. Personal contract/document review on your behalf plus one business related. Will preparation and updates.

Title II

Motor Vehicle Legal Serives (15 Day Waiting Period) Minor Legal Expenses Moving traffic violation representation. Major Legal Expenses Defense of criminal charges resulting from operation of a moving vehicle. Up to 2.5 Hours for Help With: • Suspended license. • Personal injury/property damage collection $2,000 or less.

Title III

Trial Defense (Member and Spouse Only) Help with attorney fees for defense of civil and covered work-related criminal charges. 75 hours of assistance first membership year. Scheduled benefits increase to a maximum of: • Second year - 140 hours of assistance. • Third year - 205 hours of assistance. • Fourth year - 270 hours of assistance. • Fifth year - 335 hours of assistance. Benefits paid according to schedule fully described in membership contract.

Title IV

I.R.S. Audit Legal Services Scheduled benefits up to 50 hours of professional services from your provider attorney to help defray the cost of audit representation. Coverage includes the tax return filed April 15th of your first membership year. Does not cover corporate or business tax returns.

Title V

Other Legal Work Other legal services not specifically covered by the membership are available at a 25% discount from the provider attorney's standard or corporate hourly rate for representation*. *Your provider attorney must have five business days notice for court representation. Of course, consultation is available immediately.
