The Doctor and His Staff William Tomaszewski, a Pennsylvania native, attended Millersville University in Pennsylvania for his undergraduate studies. "Dr. Tom," as he is commonly known, pursued his medical career and received his podiatric medical degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. A surgical residency program brought him to the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area. With his profession established in North Carolina, he met and married his wife, Michelle. They now have a young son and enjoy spending time with him, gardening and fishing at the beach. Dr. Tom also has interests in antiques, restoring furniture and remodeling the interior of their home. The dedication that he displays in his personal life is also evident in his professional life. He continues to broaden his podiatric and medical knowledge to bring his patients the latest medical and technological advances. Dr. Tom is certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also accredited by the American College of Foot Surgeons and is also an active member of the North Carolina Podiatric Medical Society. All Foot Centers of NC podiatric staff members are qualified, trained, and experienced in all aspects of podiatric patient care and treatment. Insurance: Foot Centers of NC will gladly accept and file all insurance, workers' compensation, personal injury, and liability cases. We currently are a contracted network provider with most insurance plans. It is important that patients are aware of the benefits offered by their own particular insurance plan. The patient is responsible for obtaining a referral, if required, from their primary care physician prior to their appointment. We understand that insurance matters can be confusing. If you need assistance, an insurance specialist is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
