Dr. Whitney is a 1974 graduate of the University
of Maryland and 1978 graduate of the New York College of Podiatric
Medicine. He completed his surgical residency program at the
Foot Clinic of Youngstown, OH. Currently, he is an attending
physician for the Kentucky Podiatric Residency program.
Dr. Whitney is certified in foot and ankle surgery as a Diplomat
of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a fellow
of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well
as the American College of Ambulatory of Foot Surgeons. He
is a member of the American, Kentucky, and Jefferson County
Podiatric Medical Associations. Dr. Whitney serves as a Board
Member for the Kentucky Podiatric Residency Foundation.
Dr. Whitney works at 4612 Outer Loop in Louisville on Monday
and Friday each week, and at 1239 Woodland Drive, Elizabethtown,
on Tuesday and Thursday each week.
Daryl K. Potter, D.P.M. , whom is originally from Virginia, Joined the United States Naval Academy in 1991. He then received his Bachelor of Science in oceanography through the Navy where he served as United States Navy Lieutenant from July 1994 through May 1997. After this accomplishment, he obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine - Cum laude at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2001. Dr. Potter then completed a three-year Kentucky Podiatric Residency Program, which is a well-rounded foot and ankle surgery residency program specializing in Forefoot/Rearfoot Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma. External rotations included Orthopaedic Trauma Team, Vascular Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Plastic Surgery, Podiatric Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery with Foot and Ankle Specialist, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Dermatology, Pathology, Wound Care, and Rheumatology.
