Dr. M. Spencer Newman
Dr. Newman has co-hosted a regular bi-weekly veterinary "call-in" TV show in Atlanta, and has served as a consultant to the City of Atlanta for the Atlanta Zoo (now "Zoo Atlanta"). He also has enjoyed speaking to school children about veterinary medicine. In 1990-91, he was honored to serve as a teaching assistant for the International Veterinarian Acupuncture Society certification course. He has authored numerous articles for professional papers for veterinary journals and has been active in local veterinary associations.

Dr. Newman has been married to Josette since they were teenagers and gives her all the credit for the hospital's success. He likes to paraphrase the late Dr. Leo Bustod (with apologies), "Behind every successful man is an astonished (and exhausted) woman!"

Dr. Newman has a special interest in alternative/complementary medicine and practices a "blend" of traditional and holistic therapies.
