PROGRAM-ages 6 thru 80
The Rhodes riding technique teaches a balanced seat, basic dressage and most importantly, harmony between-horse and rider. You will start from the ground up, first with safely leading, grooming, saddling. Riders learn at their own pace, with patience, patience, and more patience.

ADVANCED RIDERS
Marie specializes in helping riders work out problems with their horses. It takes skill, a trained eye, good communication techniques and years of experience to make an exceptional rider. Your horse or ours, your eyes will open to a new level of oneness with your horse.
GOALS
Many adults desire to be comfortable with the horse, relax and have the skills to enjoy an occasional trail ride. For some youth (as well as adults) the goal is to be a highly skilled rider, possibly to enter the show ring. Rhodes Riding Academy will taper our program to fit the rider.
CAMP

In addition to riding, games, art and just plain fun, campers maintain total care of their horse and equipment. We hope to give riders the feel of the degree of commitment it takes to own a horse. All counselors have been riding with Marie Rhodes a minimum of 2 years. The camp ratio is 1 counselor to 3 campers.
THE PASO FINO
Experienced in a wide variety of disciplines and breeds, Marie Rhodes specializes in the Paso Fino. Known for their smooth riding gaits, the Paso Fino is enjoyable for riders of all ages.
