Dr. Siciliano-Hartt provides services in two basic areas - therapy and testing.
If you or someone in your family is experiencing difficulties with depression, anxiety, or anger, it is important to seek help from an experienced professional. The decision to seek help is the first step on the road to recovery. While there are no "quick fixes" or "magical solutions", there are alternative ways of looking at persistent problems. Dr. Siciliano-Hartt is committed to helping individuals examine their own personal strengths and weaknesses, in order to make positive changes in their lives. Individual therapy sessions are offered for children, adolescents, and adults. In certain circumstances, family sessions are also recommended.
Psycho-educational testing is also provided by Dr. Siciliano-Hartt. Children and adolescents can be struggling with subjects in school, due to a number of different factors. Learning disabilities, problems with attention and concentration, or underlying psychological difficulties, such as depression or anxiety, can all block a child's or teenager's ability to master basic academic skills. Through psycho-educational testing, the specific underlying problems can be identified, and strategies can be developed that will enable the student to move forward.
