Miami Tan was founded by Jack D, Hays in 1997 with the concept of supplying the South Florida area with a high quality, service oriented indoor tanning center. Miami Tan, formerly known as Solar Beach, first started out located on the first floor of the well established Olympia Gym. Within 3 years Solar Beach needed to expand to a larger location. In 2001, Jack Hays took over the already existing Miami Tan. He came in with new beds, ideas and an even stronger commitment to provide the finest salon to his South Florida clients.
