Basic Cake Decorating $50.00 plus supplies (6 lessons)

You will learn: Helpful baking hints, how to make buttercream and royal icing and their uses, how to ice, smooth, and tort a cake, coloring, flowers (drop flowers, roses, daisies, wild rose, half rose, rosebud, lily of the valley), borders (shell, zigzag, rosette, reverse shell, circular "e", rope), writing, string work, basket weave, sugar molding, figure piping, lattice work, flower arranging with sugar flowers. Class meets every Tuesday for six consecutive weeks.

You will learn: Melting and molding chocolate, how to make lollipops, assorted crunch candies, turtles, chocolate covered cherries, peanut butter cups, gift ideas and treats to send to school and much more. You will receive recipes and samples.

will learn:baking hints, how to fill cupcakes, icing techniques, and lots of fun and unique decorating ideas.
Introduction to Rolled Fondant $60.00
Saturday September 10th 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
You
will learn:How to cover a cake with fondant, crimping, embossing, using molds with fondant, fondant pearls, fondant rope border, drapes, fondant roses and more if time allows. This is a hands-on class and each student will cover and decorate a fondant cake to take home. Supplies will be provided.
Petite Fours $25.00

will learn: to bake, cut, pour, and decorate dainty petite fours for special events.

will learn: How to prepare a cake for assembly, how to dowel a cake for pillar or stack construction, how to stack cakes, how to use pillar sets, hints for assembling and transporting tiered cakes, how to plan your design, as well as fast and easy decorating ideas.
